What happens on Weigh Day?
Prior to Weigh Day
Provide manufacturer specifications
Identify a location for the weigh near you. Flat paved surface.
Fully load the vehicle and trailer to the typical maximum load you will carry.
Position the vehicle and trailer hitched on the flat surface (fully hitched)
Drive on the weigh cells and each tyre and axle is weighed wirelessly
Data is recorded and the actual GVM, ATM is calculated
Drive off the weigh cells and unhitch the trailer
Measure the actual tow ball weight (TBM) and height
Calculate the actual GTM and GCM
Discuss the results with client
Explain the acronyms (GVM, GCM etc) and what the results mean
Make recommendations to improve weight compliance and load distribution
Email the final report with recommendations to the client
