What happens on Weigh Day?

  • Prior to Weigh Day

    • Provide manufacturer specifications

    • Identify a location for the weigh near you. Flat paved surface.

    • Fully load the vehicle and trailer to the typical maximum load you will carry.

  • Position the vehicle and trailer hitched on the flat surface (fully hitched)

    • Drive on the weigh cells and each tyre and axle is weighed wirelessly

    • Data is recorded and the actual GVM, ATM is calculated

  • Drive off the weigh cells and unhitch the trailer

    • Measure the actual tow ball weight (TBM) and height

    • Calculate the actual GTM and GCM

    • Explain the acronyms (GVM, GCM etc) and what the results mean

    • Make recommendations to improve weight compliance and load distribution

    • Email the final report with recommendations to the client
